Disclaimer: This is not a scientific, double blind clinical study. This is for FUN.
We’ve all read about right brain/left brain. Most people have some tendencies of both. There are a gazillion free quick tests online to see how you score. I took four different tests (although many questions were duplicates) and came out with the same answer with slightly different percentages.
I chose a test from the Art Institute of Vancouver. There are 54 questions and they are purposely vague. Relax and select the BEST answer.
Take the test and report your results.

I’ll report first. I was a bit surprised to find out that I was 54% left brain and 46% right brain. Fairly well balanced according to the Art Institute of Vancouver! Some details below:
Your left brain/right brain percentage was calculated by combining the individual scores of each half’s sub-categories. They are as follows:
Your Left Brain Percentages
| 34% | Verbal (Your most dominant characteristic) |
| 27% | Sequential |
| 25% | Logical |
| 22% | Linear |
| 17% | Symbolic |
| 7% | Reality-based (Your least dominant characteristic) |
Your Right Brain Percentages
| 45% | Random (Your most dominant characteristic) |
| 24% | Fantasy-oriented |
| 20% | Intuitive |
| 13% | Nonverbal |
| 6% | Holistic |
| 0% | Concrete (Your least dominant characteristic) |
Wow, a zero for concrete. I’d better find out what that means!
Have fun and remember to report back to the blog.
